1 ． Treatment on acute prostatitis

General treatments are complete bed rest, drinking more water and bowels open. Paregoric, antispastic and hot water demibain could be applied in the case of serious irritation sign of bladder in order to alleviate the symptom. Antibacterials such as penicillin, ampicillin, cephalosporin and Cefuroxime could be applied.

Symptoms will usually be extinct in 1 or 2 weeks after treatment of antiinflammatory and treatment aiming directly at symptoms. If the symptoms are not improved or even aggravated on the contrary, prostate swells even more seriously and fluctuantly by finger touch at prostate through anus, abscess-formation is visible through B-supersonic examination, furthermore, liquor puris can be extracted by nyxis via perinaeum, incision and drainage to abscess should be conducted via perineal region.

2 ． Treatment on chronic prostatitis

(1) General treatments are as following. Strengthen patients' confidence to recover, remove patients' anxiety, restrain sexuality but not excessively. Wine and food with strong flavor should be avoided. Hot water demibain per night and local physical therapy should be conducted. Strongly causative factors such as long time riding bicycle should be avoided.

(2) Prostatic massage. Regular prostatic massage which could facilitate kenosis of inflamed secretion of prostatitis is conducted once a week. Meanwhile, routine examination on liquor prostaticus may also be undertaken to evaluate therapeutic efficacy

(3) Medical infusion. Bioclean normal saline is injected into urethra on the part of prostate through a specially made aerocyst urinary canal via urethra, and then drawing of purulent secretion is undertaken over and over until no purulent secretion is vestigial, and after those, antibiotic is injected into urethra on the part of prostate. All the remedies above are applied once a week.

4 ． Urethral sounding. Regular urethral sounding to ankylurethria or impatency urethra may facilitate excretion. Furthermore, debouch of prostate can be prolonged when divining-rod going through urethra. That can facilitate drainage for prostate.

5 ． Blockage of amphi-prostata.

6. Application of antibacterials. The usual antibacterials can not enter tissue of prostate easily. This is also one of the factors which lead to difficult therapy to prostatitis clinically. United medication of 2 to 3 kinds of drugs could be adopted or drugs are applied according to the results of drug sensitivity test and bacteriological cultivation of liquor prostaticus.

7 ． Dialectical administration of traditional Chinese medicine.
