Symptoms of prostatitis

1 £® Clinical manifestation of acute prostatitis

Acute prostatitis occurs suddenly and develops rapidly. Manifestations are general infection or Pyemia, ardent fever, frequent micturition, urgency, odynuria, urethrodynia, pain on perineal region and pubis, turgor on rectum, difficult defecation, occasional dysuresia or even uroschesis which are caused by oedema and convulsion on collum vesicae.

2 £® Clinical manifestation of chronic prostatitis

Different patients have fairly different symptoms. Usual symptoms are as following.

(1) Soreness, whose manifestations are burning sensation and formication on posterior urethra, soreness of perineal region and pars analis radiating to lumbosacral area, fold inguen, suprapubic region, thysus, didymus and occasionally urosome.

(2) Symptoms on urinary system are as following. Inflammation involves urethra. Low -grade frequent micturition, urgency and odynuria could occur to the patients. Blood urine could occur at the end of emiction individually. Mucago or purulent secretion exists at urethral orifice before matutinal emiction or during defecation.

(3) Sexual disturbance

(4) Symptoms of neurasthenia are gloom mood, hypodynamia, hyposomnia.

(5)Secondum symptoms are Conjunctivitis, iriditis, arthritis, neuritis and so on.
