| (1) primary sterility and secondary sterility, the former refers to without having pregnancy after marriage, but the later refers to once having pregnancy out of the recent 2 years;
(2) absolute sterility and relative sterility, the former refers to sterility due to anatomical or functional defects in one of the couple which are unable to correct, and the later refers to sterility due to a certain factors in one of the couple which may be treated;
(3) Male sterility and female sterility, distinguished according to the factors whether in men or women.
(4) Organic sterility and functional sterility, the former refers to sterility caused by organic pathologic changes of genitals, and the later refers to sterility caused by dyscrinism. |
